Associate

Rachael joined the Smith & Tzannes team in 2008 upon graduating with honours from the University of Technology, Sydney. Prior to this she had worked in local Sydney offices during her studies. During university she was elected as student representative and was also a finalist for the NSW RAIA Design Medal upon graduating. She has developed a keen interest residential and public domain projects, with particular interest in the challenge of adaptive re-use and unusual sites.

Rachael’s experience ranges from concept design through to construction documentation. She has developed solid experience working with private and local government clients, consultants and builders, and enjoys a positive rapport with all project members and clients.

Rachael has also established a presence at UTS following graduation by returning to tutor Architectural Communications to undergraduate students. Her passion for simple and beautiful architectural presentations has assisted students in honing their design communication skills in multiple mediums and digital platforms.
